Indices Shine; Auto Surges

The Indian markets opened on a negative note but have ended up with good volumes. The markets were volatile after midsession but again closed near day highs. The Nifty ended with a gain of 22 points at 8638; and Sensex is up by 25 points at 27941.
The advance-decline ratio ended on the positive side in the closing session. On the NSE, 31 shares closed in green, while 20 shares ended the day in red.
Auto and Metals were the top gainers, gaining more than 200 points each. While Mid-Caps and Small-Caps were up by around 130 points each. Bankex and Oil & Gas also closed in positive territory.
In the Asian markets, the Nikkei closed up by 109 points. The Hang Seng index ended down by 177 points. While the KOSPI and Shanghai also ended on a negative note.
European markets were also trading in mixed scenario.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty future closed above its crucial supports which is 8500/8550. If it sustains above this level, it may continue with the positive momentum.
