Markets to open in red tracking global peers

SGX Nifty is trading with losses of 0.96 per cent to the levels of 8566. We expect markets to open in red following global peers.
Indian share markets after Diwali celebrations didn’t look very enthusiastic as they traded within a very narrow range amidst volatile equity markets on Tuesday, November 1. The day belonged to policy actions both from BOJ and RBA who maintained status quo in their monetary policy meet on Tuesday. Nifty closed absolutely flat at the levels of 8626; whereas Sensex corrected by quarter of a per cent to the levels of 27875 on Tuesday.
European markets witnessed fall for a seventh straight day on Tuesday, November 1, marked by uncertainty surrounding US election results. Major benchmark indices closed with a cut in excess of one per cent with German DAX being the rank under-performer in trade.
US stocks closed lower in trade on Tuesday, November 1, as the investor community around the globe closely tracked US election developments. All the major indices saw a cut of more than half a percentage.
Asian shares tumbled in trade on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 as recent poll suggests that Republican candidate is closing the gap with its Democrat counterpart in a closely fought election. Reacting to this all the major indices along with currency saw deep cuts in early trade as they were down by more than one per cent in trade.
