Even as probability of Clinton winning US presidential elections improves after FBI in US gives clean chit to Clinton, the global markets have climbed in last two sessions after witnessing consecutive negative sessions fearing Trump win.

Even as probability of Clinton winning US presidential elections improves after FBI in US gives clean chit to Clinton, the global markets have climbed in last two sessions after witnessing consecutive negative sessions fearing Trump win.

Clinton win is broadly perceived to be good for global markets and at least the risk of massive sell off is nil if Clinton wins; even if Clinton win may not lead markets to climb much higher.

However market experts do believe there might be a relief rally post Clinton win. Indian markets taking cues from global markets may trend in line.

Pharma stocks have already been battered globally due to fear that Clinton policies may lead to reduction in profitability of branded pharma companies. Investors in India can look at Pharma stocks closely which are battered heavily owing to the developments in the US elections.

Sun pharma, Lupin, Lincoln Pharma are all down anywhere between 12 per cent to 25 per cent in past one week. Such correction often proves useful to accumulate stocks whose fundamentals are intact.
