Pratibha wins water supply project in Tamil Naidu

Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board has awarded Pratibha Industries a contract for providing combined water supply scheme to 293 rural habitations in Musiri, Thathyanagarpettai, Thuraiyur and Uppiliyapuram unions in Trichy District including paid maintenance for five years.

The total value of the contract is Rs 92.22 crores.
Pratibha Industries in the recent times has won awards aggregating to Rs 700 crores in this fiscal.The Company has also emerged as the lowest bidder in tenders for contracts worth Rs 370 crore and they are expected to be finalised soon.
Owing to the news the shares of the company which previously closed at Rs 10.35 on November 24 opened up by 11 per cent. As at 9.30 am, the scrips are trading at Rs 10.50. In the last three months, the shares have fallen by over 67 per cent. The shares last week had hit new 52 week low of Rs 10.20. Fifty-two-week high/low of the stock stands at Rs 50.95/10.20.
