Bulls make a decent comeback in second half

The Indian markets have recovered in second half after positive opening from European markets on first day of week. Indices erases day’s loss and closed on a positive note. Both indices closed by above half a per cent. At closing bell, the Nifty ended 41 points higher at 8128 and the BSE Sensex increased 118 points to close at 26349.

The advance-decline ratio stood positive in the closing session. On the NSE, 36 shares closed in green, while 15 shares ended the day in red.

All sectoral indices closed in green except Capital Goods, Oil & Gas and IT. Automobile index rose about 376 points. Bank index also was up by 168 points. FMCG, Consumer Durables and Metals also increased by 100 points each. Mid-caps and Small-caps also were up by more than 80 points and 31 points respectively.

In the Asian markets, the Nikkei closed with about loss of 151 points. Hang Seng index ended on a negative note and decreased by 59 points. KOSPI and Taiwan also dropped almost 0.31 per cent each on Monday.

European markets were trading in positive scenario.

Derivative Analysis

Nifty future closed above 8170 mark. Going ahead 8230/8130 will be the immediate support levels.
