Prestige Estates Projects Ltd disappoints with its Q2 results

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 71.13 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2016 as compared to Rs. 128.31 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2015.
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has announced the results for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 on December 7th.
On standalone basis the performance has been as below:-
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 71.13 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2016 as compared to Rs. 128.31 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2015.
The total income has decreased from Rs 778.39 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2015 to Rs. 512.10 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2016.
On a consolidated basis, the group has posted a net profit for the period after minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of jointly controlled entities of Rs 64.51 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2016 as compared to Rs 154.47 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2015.
The total income has decreased from Rs 1662.35 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2015 to Rs. 1173.52 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, 2016.
The stock has underperformed the market over a one year period with the stock losing almost 30 per cent.On standalone basis the performance has been as below:-
