Dilip Buildcon shines after bagging Rs 917 crore order

Dilip Buildcon has bagged a project worth Rs 917 crore. The company has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary DBL Kalmath Zarap Highways for rehabilitation and upgradation of NH-66 to 4-lane with paved shoulder in Maharashtra under NHDP-IV on hybrid annuity mode.

On the financial front, DIlip Buildcon’s order book stood at Rs 13,600 crore in Q2FY17. The company’s order book constitutes about 85 per cent from government, 10 per cent from state government and 4 per cent from private clients. 

The company’s revenue increased 3.86 per cent to Rs 920 crore in Q2FY17 as compared to the same period in the previous financial year. Its operating profit reduced 14.61 per cent to Rs 156 crore in Q2FY17 on a yearly basis. Dilip Buildcon’s net profit stood at Rs 6.97 crore in Q2FY17 as against net profit of Rs 40.23 crore in Q2FY16.

The share price of Dilip Buildcon increased 3.02 per cent on bourses in early trades and is trading at Rs 226.55 on intra-day basis.
