Bears manage to overhaul bulls, ahead of FED decision

The Indian markets saw some cautious trade ahead of FED decision, which will be announced tonight. Most of the sectoral indices ended on a lower note. At closing bell, the Nifty ended 39 points lower at 8182 and the Sensex lost 95 points to close at 26603.
The Indian markets saw some cautious trade ahead of FED decision, which will be announced tonight. Most of the sectoral indices ended on a lower note. At closing bell, the Nifty ended 39 points lower at 8182 and the Sensex lost 95 points to close at 26603.
The advance-decline ratio was balanced in the closing session. On the NSE,12 shares closed in green, while 39 shares ended the day in red.
Majority of the sectoral indices closed on a negative note. Metals and Capital Goods were hammered the most, down more than 183 points and 130 points respectively. Followed by Banks, Auto, Mid-Caps and Small-caps which dived around 100 points each. However only IT index closed in green territory, up by 60 points.
In the Asian markets, the Nikkei closed up by 3 points. While the Hang Seng index ended up by 9 points. The Shanghai and Taiwan ended on a negative note.
European markets were also trading in negative scenario.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty future closed below 8200 mark. Going ahead 8140/8110 will be the immediate support levels.
