Infosys revenue to hover over Rs 17K crore

Country’s second largest information technology company, Infosys will release its Q3FY17 earnings on January 13, 2017.Company’s revenue may hover over Rs 17,310 crore from the previous quarter. Company’s EBIT for the quarter may fall to Rs 4,235 crore from Rs 4,309 earlier. EBIT margin may be seen contracting by 40 bps to 24.5 per cent YoY.

Company’s EBIT for the quarter may fall to Rs 4,235 crore from Rs 4,309 earlier. EBIT margin may be seen contracting by 40 bps to 24.5 per cent YoY.
 
If the margin comes below 24  per cent it can turn negative for the company. Company may see profits falling by one per cent QoQ to Rs 3,569 crore and dollar revenue may fall  by one per cent to reach USD 2,560 million. In short, Infosys is likely to maintain its Q4FY17 guidance of 24-25 per cent.

This is in accordance with predictions of street estimates, that the the Q3 earnings are going to remain subdued due to seasonal weakness and cancellation of RBS’s contract that contributed 1.4 per cent to revenue. Also, the company management changed the yearly guidance for the financial year 2017 twice.
