Q3FY17 Quarterly Results: IL&FS Transportation Networks

IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 during market hours today. The total sales for Q3FY17 came in at Rs 1020.52 crore. This represents a 4.32 per cent sequential increase and 8.63 per cent YoY decline.

The operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter was Rs 373.1 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 36.56 per cent.
In terms of the bottomline, the company reported PAT of Rs 55.66 crore which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 2.45 per cent. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 19.42 crore during the same period last year.
The company's stock, which opened for trading at Rs. 119.15 on the BSE, had risen 1.4 per cent after the results were declared and is currently trading around Rs 119.15.
