Maruti Suzuki spends Rs 2000 crore on Nexa

Maruti Suzuki has reportedly spent Rs 2000 crore on setting up its Nexa dealership network. The company had launched the automobile sales network Nexa last year. The Nexa network has different showrooms altogether.

Recently, the company launched its new product Ignis under Nexa. The dealers of Maruti too are reportedly spending Rs 900 crore to build Nexa showrooms. The company will not reimburse this cost to the dealers, but it will give 5 per cent sales margin to its dealer for every car sold.

The stock of the company has been doing well on the bourses. The stock has given a return of 34.59 per year in the last one year and is trading at P/E of 28.35. The stock has outperformed the benchmark BSE Sensex as well as the Auto index.
