Q3FY17 Results: ACC Ltd.

ACC Ltd. Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 today. 

The company's total sales for Q3FY17 were Rs 2734.29 crore, which represent a 8.44 per cent sequential increase and 6.1 per cent YoY decline.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter was Rs 85.54 crore and the EBIT margin was 3.13 per cent.

The company PAT was Rs 52.03 crore for the quarter, which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 37.31 per cent and a YoY decline of 47.77 per cent. The degrowth in profit was mainly due to provision of Rs 38.49 crore made in respect of advances and current assets relating to its subsidiary company. The company also declared interim and final dividends of Rs 11 and Rs 6 per share of the face value of Rs 10 each.

The company's stock opened at Rs 1430 on the BSE and declined 0.64 per cent. It closed for the day at Rs 1426.45.
