Siemens bags order worth Rs 119 crore

Siemens Ltd has informed bourses today that it has won order worth Rs 119 crore from Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Ltd.

Siemens Ltd has informed bourses today that it has won order worth Rs 119 crore from Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Ltd. The company received the order for design, engineering, procurement, manufacture, supply and commissioning of equipment for 765/400kV air-insulated switchgear substation equipment at Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) and 765kV bay extension equipment at Dhule (Maharashtra) for Khargone Transmission Ltd.
Further, on Feb. 10, 2017, the company bagged order worth Rs 101 crore from Delhi Transco Ltd.

The company recently announced its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016. During the quarter, the company registered strong net profit growth of 43.7 per cent YoY to Rs 160 crore.

The company’s stock movement on the bourses remained sluggish for the day. It opened at Rs 1204.45 on the BSE and closed at Rs 1208.25.
