Government to roll out direct subsidy on fertilisers

Fertiliser subsidy will be given to the producer after verification of Aadhaar number on the sale machine, while selling to farmers. The subsidised benefit will be directly transferred to the producer's bank account.

The government has plans to initiate direct benefit transfer for subsidy on fertiliser in the later part of June 2017. The plan is for all the districts across the country.
