NTPC commissions 115 MW solar power project at Bhadla

NTPC has commissioned 115 MW out of 260 MW of Bhadla Solar Power Project. The installed capacity of NTPC’s solar power projects touches 475 MW.
NTPC has commissioned 115 MW out of 260 MW of Bhadla Solar Power Project. The installed capacity of NTPC’s solar power projects touches 475 MW. The total installed capacity of NTPC on standalone basis is 41,177 MW and that of NTPC group has become 48,143 MW.
On the financial front, NTPC’s revenue increased 10.92 per cent to Rs 19,396 crore in Q3FY17, as compared to the same period in previous financial year. The company’s operating profit too rose by 9.67 per cent to Rs 5,226 crore in Q3FY17 on yearly basis. However, its net profit reduced 7.49 per cent to Rs 2,469 crore in Q3FY17 as compared to the same period in previous fiscal year.
The plant load factor (PLF) or proportion of installed capacity utilised by NTPC’s coal based units has come down to 78.23 per cent in Q3FY17, as compared to 80.79 per cent in Q3FY16.
The share price of NTPC declined 1.44 per cent in an early trade and is trading at Rs 165.55 in an intraday basis.
