V-Mart Retail adds up two new stores

Previously the company had 136 stores in 118 cities across 14 states. Now the total tallies to 138 stores with 37 composite stores and 101 fashion stores with a total area of approx 11.68 lakhs sq.ft.

V-Mart Retail has opened two new stores in the state of Uttar Pradesh. With the new stores, the company now has total of 17 composite and 41 fashion stores in Uttar Pradesh. Both the new stores are fashion stores.

V-Mart Retail announced its Q3FY17 result last month, which saw revenue growth of 23.3 per cent yoy and PAT growth of 81.3% yoy. 

V-Mart Retail stock which opened for trading on BSE for Rs. 705.25 has touched day’s high of Rs. 742, and it is trading at Rs. 727 mark up by 3.08 per cent.

V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities, including Sultanpur, Ujjain, Motihari. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of “value retail” departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and grocery.
