Highlights of Trump's much awaited US Congress address

In his first address to the US Congress, Donald Trump severely condemned the Kansas shooting, besides criticising the vandalism of the Jewish cemeteries and the threats conveyed to the Jewish community. 

In his speech, Trump vowed to put American citizens ahead of anything else, in order to 'Make America Great Again', as also announcing the establishment of 'VOICE' to prevent immigration crime engagement and to aid its victims. 

Trump announced the government's plan to build big walls to shield its southern borders, besides vowing to uproot ISIS with the help of America's Muslim allies, to put an end to radical Islamic terrorism. Trump also reasserted the enforcement of immigration laws to make the communities safer and also to prevent domestic unemployment. 

Stressing on fair trade, Trump hinted on implementing protective trade practices, vouching to abandon the free trade policies.


While announcing the scrapping off of the Obamacare Insurance policy, Trump said, "Mandating every American to buy government-approved health insurance was never the right solution for our country. The way to make health insurance available to everyone is to lower the cost, and that is what we are going to do."
