Glenmark Pharma, USA, announces a partnership with Evestra for an etonogestrel product

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc.,USA, and Evestra Inc., announced today that they have completed a strategic development, license  and commercialisation agreement to develop and market an etonogestrel product. Development of the product is underway and these companies are expected to file the Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) in fiscal 2019.

Evestra will develop this product exclusively for Glenmark, targeted at the US market, and will receive handsome payments during different stages of product development, including royalties on net sales.
