Sitting at his safehouse thousands of miles away, business tycoon who had allegedly deceived at least three major banks by not paying back huge amount of loans taken from them, Vijay Mallya on Friday tried to reach the banks taking the route of social media. Through Twitter, Mallya, boss of now defunct Kingfisher Airlines approached the banks for a one-time settlement of his dues.

Levelling allegations against certain government agencies, Mallya claimed he has been held guilty 'without a fair trial' but he is keen to discuss one-time settlement methods with the bankers on a 'fair basis.'

Just few hours before his tweets, Supreme Court raised questions on the asset declaration made by the liquor baron after he transferred  USD 40 billion to his children. The victimised banks are yet to respond to his tweets even as their attempts to auction his 'Villa' Goa failed number of times and also the Kingfisher House in Mumbai, for some reasons known only to the concerned.
