RBI launches mobile app

In a bid to keep up with the tech-updated world, RBI launched the app version of the RBI website, for both Android and iOS phones.
In a bid to keep up with the tech-updated world, RBI launched the app version of the RBI website, for both Android and iOS phones.
The app will provide regular updates on IFSC/MICR codes, current policy rates, bank holidays and financial decisions among other things. The reference rate of four major currencies will also be displayed on the application.
While, on the top of the application page, public awareness messages on currency notes of Rs2,000, Rs500 and know your customer (KYC) norms will also be flashed.
Opening a communication window for the users, the RBI app also offers a suggestions and feedback option through emails.
