NSE and Bank Nifty stocks reshuffled: futures to watch out

The index maintenance sub-committee (IMSC) has made changes in NSE and Bank Nifty indices. From March 31, 2017, Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) and Idea Cellular will be excluded from Nifty 50 Index. Indiabulls Housing Finance & Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will be included in Nifty 50 Index.

At the same time, IMSC also changed Bank Nifty index stocks. Bank of India has been excluded from Nifty Bank Index and IDFC Bank will be included in the index.

The stock price of BHEL, Idea Cellular, Indiabulls Housing Finance, IOC, Bank of India and IDFC Bank will be watched out on Friday morning.

On a rollover basis, futures of the reshuffled stocks can be given as, Indiabulls Housing Finance at 86.42 per cent, IOC at 70.53 per cent and IDFC Bank at 87.15 per cent. While, short built-up may be seen in BHEL at 74.63 per cent, Idea Cellular at 76.09 per cent and Bank of India at 81.25 per cent.

At opening, there may be long built-up positions in Indiabulls Housing Finance, IOC and IDFC Bank. While, short built-up may be seen in BHEL, Idea Cellular and Bank of India in April month’s F&O expiry.
