Atlas Copco is set to double its capacity at its Hyderabad plant through expansion. In this expansion, the unit will be enhanced with a test and research centre for company's rock drilling products.

Also, the expansion will increase the efficiency of customer delivery process.
The company's Hyderabad unit is set to introduce rotary products for oil gas application, drilling consumables for surface mining applications and deep hole drilling machines in the coming months to serve Indian and American markets.
Atlas Copco is a company engaged in the manufacture of compressors, vacuum solutions, mining, construction and tools for automotive industry. The company has expanded its Hyderabad unit by investing Rs 80 crore. It has been operating since 2009 from Hyderabad unit, which is important part of the global supply chain and contributes about 70% of the supply.
The company has its manufacturing units at Pune and Nashik in Maharashtra, apart from Hyderabad. Previously, it had invested Rs.100 crore in its new compressor plant at Pune in 2013 .
