Bulls charge up markets on Monday

Indian capital markets zoomed as bulls went on a buying spree on the first day of week. Markets extended the gains in the second half of the session after a bullish start of the European markets.
Indian capital markets zoomed as bulls went on a buying spree on the first day of week. Markets extended the gains in the second half of the session after a bullish start of the European markets. Nifty was able to hold the level of 9200.
At the closing bell, Nifty ended at 9217 with gain of 98 points and BSE Sensex closed at 29655, an increment of 290 points. On the NSE, 41 shares closed in the green, while 10 shares ended the day in the red.
All indices closed in the green except Healthcare. Bankex increased 310 points, Capital Goods and Auto rose more than 260 points each. Oil & Gas increased 102 points. However, Healthcare reduced 65 points. Mid-cap index increased 137 points and Small-cap also rose 124 points.
Asian markets traded mixed on Monday. Shanghai reduced 1.37 per cent, Hang Seng rose 0.41 per cent. Nikkei increased 1.37 per cent. European markets were trading on positive sentiments.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty Future closed in the positive at 9225. Going ahead, 9281/9148 will be the immediate support levels.
