Q4FY17 result: Persistent Systems

The company reported PAT of Rs 86.7 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 5.86 per cent and a YoY increase of 18.6 per cent.
Persistent Systems Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 today.
The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 727.1 crores, which represents a 2.47 per cent sequential decline and 7.38 per cent YoY increase.
Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter was Rs 90.7 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 12.47 per cent.

During FY2016-17, Persistent notched up 24.5 per cent YoY jump in the revenue to Rs. 2878 crore. Its net profit during the period rose 8.7 per cent YoY to Rs. 302 crore.
The stock of Persistent today traded cautiously on account of the results. The stock opened at Rs 565 on the BSE and touched the day’s high of Rs. 571.5 and low of Rs 563.8.
