Indian capital markets continued their massive surge today, May 10, 2017. The NSE Nifty hit a record high of 9,414 intra-day, closing above the crucial 9400-mark for the first time ever.

At the closing bell, Nifty ended at 9,407 with a gain of 90.47 points and BSE Sensex also closed above the 30,000 mark at 30,248, up by 314.92 points. On the NSE, 33 shares closed in the green, while 18 shares ended the day in the red.
All indices closed in the green, except S&P BSE IT. Auto, FMCG and Healthcare gained the most with gains of more than 130 points each. S&P BSE Auto made the highest gains, rising most than 333 points. BSE Mid-cap, Bank Nifty and Oil & Gas also gained more than 100 points each. Mid-cap index increased 128.41 points and sSmall-cap also gained 117 points.
Asian markets traded mixed on Friday. Shanghai clocked a fall of 0.90 per cent, Hang Seng gained by 126.39 points. Nikkei increased by 57.09 points. European markets were trading with mixed sentiments at the time of filing this report at 1600 hours.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty Future closed in the positive at 9,418. Going ahead, 9460/9370 will be the immediate support levels.
