A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between National Securities Depository Ltd and Thomson Reuters Corp will enable to calculate and file tax returns under the new indirect tax regime. Along with this, both the companies also agreed to work jointly to leverage Thomson Reuters' ONESOURCE Determination solution in order to provide value-added services (including validation services for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) segment).

Offer of Thomson Reuters will be an additional service on NSDL e-Gov’s existing GST Suvidha Provider portal. NSDL is the one out of the 34 companies shortlisted by the Goods and Services Tax Network to provide an interface for the new tax regime.
