Reliance Defence, French company Daher sign MoU for strategic partnership

Daher Aerospace is tier 1 manufacturer in aerostructures segment comprising fuselage sections and fairings made of composites as well as conventional metals for Dassault Aviation and other leading global aircraft manufacturers.
A fully-owned subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure Limited, Reliance Defence Limited and Daher Aerospace, France signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with for strategic partnership in design and development of aerospace components.
Daher Aerospace is tier 1 manufacturer in aerostructures segment comprising fuselage sections and fairings made of composites as well as conventional metals for Dassault Aviation and other leading global aircraft manufacturers.
Through this MoU, Reliance Defence hopes for a strategic partnership with Daher with an aim to jointly explore opportunities in design and manufacture of composite parts; design and build welded ducts, metal conduits, etc.
In India, Dassault has 50% offset obligation for 36 Rafale aircraft, a contract valued close to 8 billion euro. Reliance Defence is a key partner with Dassault Aviation for the largest ever offset program in India.
