Crisil Ltd reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 after market hours yesterday.
The company's total sales for Q2CY17 came in at Rs 406.5 crore, which represents a 1.28 per cent sequential increase and 8.54 per cent YoY increase.
Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 102.55 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 25.23 per cent.
The company reported PAT of Rs 67.25 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 15.39 per cent and a YoY increase of 9.85 per cent.
During the quarter, large corporate ratings have witnessed modest growth, whereas SME ratings have seen decline owing to reduction in NSIC subsidy. In India, the company has launched “Quantix” a data analytics platform and launched “SMART” an innovative research platform globally aiming sell as well as buy side research processes
The company's stock opened at Rs 1945 on the BSE, touched high/low of Rs.1975/Rs.1945 and closed at Rs.1956.9 on Tuesday
