Markets in Europe opened higher in the morning hours on Monday as investors awaited key economic data and digested earnings reports.

FTSE 100 index was trading at 7,418 level, higher by 50.60 points; CAC 40 index was trading at 5,137 level, up by 6.46 points; German DAX was trading at 12,178 level, up by 15.61 points.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 was trading up by 0.15% with almost all the sectors.
Europe’s largest bank, HSBC, posted a set of financial results that surpasses the estimates in the first half of 2017 and announced a USD 2 billion share buyback on the back of a growing capital base.
Meanwhile, investors remained wary of geopolitical uncertainty on Monday after North Korea conducted another missile test late on Friday.
