Eicher Motors registers 21% sales increase in July

Eicher Motors, known for its brand Royal Enfield, has, in its sales data of July 2017, revealed that the company’s total sales rose by 24% to 2,48,457 units during April – July 2017 as compared to 2,00,861 units of the same period last year.

The sales volume soared by 21% to 64,459 units in the month of July 2017 as against 53,378 units of July 2016.
Royal Enfield’s exports rose by 19% to 6,418 units during April - July 2017 compared to the same period last year while sales increased by 4% to 1,302 units in July 2017 compared to the same period last year.
The company’s model with engine capacity up to 350 cc posted a rise of 29% during April to July 2017 compared to the same period last year while in July it delivered a rise of 27% over July 2016.
The model with engine capacity above 350 cc generated sales of 60,553 units in July 2017, posting a rise of 27% over July 2016. However, during April to July 2017 the sales volume decreased by 22% to 16,991 units as against 21,753 units of the same period last year.
