UCO Bank allots 30.7 crore shares to government

UCO Bank has issued and allotted 30,71,58,119 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each to the Government of India at an issue price of Rs 37.44 per equity share, including a premium of Rs 27.44 per equity share, said the bank in a BSE filing post market hours on Thursday.

UCO Bank was trading at Rs 29.65 per share, down by Rs 0.75 or 2.47% as at 1019 hours on Friday, on the BSE. The stock traded on new 52-week low value of Rs 28.50.
The above shares will be under lock-in for a period of three years from the date of trading approval from the stock exchanges, it said.
