The stock traded on a fresh 52-week high of Rs 452.50 per share. HPCL gained 3% at Rs 481.40 per share on the BSE. The stock for the second straight day traded on a fresh 52-week high of Rs 481.70 per share. The company has been providing a dividend yield of 4.29% and maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 39.88%.
 
Bharat Petroleum Corporation gained 2.33% at Rs 516.70 per share on the BSE. The stock is providing a dividend yield of 4.30%. The company has posted profit growth of 42.86% over five years. The company has had a return on equity of 27.26% for the last three years and a dividend payout ratio of 42.46%. On a yearly basis the stock has given 27.54% and has outperformed the BSE Sensex and underperformed the BSE Oil & Gas index. 
 
Meanwhile, Nifty reclaimed the 9,900 mark, gaining 1.06% on the BSE while Sensex gained 0.98% at 31,694 at 1202 hours.
