IL&FS Engg up 5 per cent, bags Rs. 582 crore contract

Share price of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company surged by 5 per cent as the company won a contract worth Rs. 582 crore.
 
At 11:32 hours the shares of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company were quoting at Rs. 51.25, up Rs 2.40, or 4.91 per cent.
 
The company has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for a road contract from IL&FS Transportation Networks (ITNL) which is to be completed in the next 21 months. The company is currently working on various road projects across India worth Rs. 5012 crore.
 
IL&FS Engg. has posted a net profit of Rs. 40.14 crore in Q2 FY18 as against a net loss of Rs. 81.59 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. 
 
The share had touched its 52-week high of Rs. 65.95 on February 21, 2017 and 52-week low Rs. 31 on September 29, 2017.
