Markets continue to trade positive
Chandrakant / 08 Feb 2012
The Indian markets continue to trade in the positive zone, with both the bourses up by 0.80%. Weak numbers reported by Bharti Airtel lead to choppy trade in the morning. However, a positive Asian market and the positive opening of the European markets later lifted investor sentiment.
Asian markets were strengthened in the late trading session today on the back of positive news coming in on the debt restructuring plan from Greece. However, investors also remained cautious on the week's earning numbers reported by a few companies.
The European markets opened on a positive note on the back of progress seen on the debt restructuring deal between Greek leaders and their creditors.
