GDP For June 2012 @ 5.5%

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the month of June 2012 (first quarter of FY2013) came in at 5.5 per cent.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the month of June 2012 (first quarter of FY2013) came in at 5.5 per cent. This was against the streets expectations of anywhere in the range of 4.9 to 5.3 per cent.

This is very surprising as the overall economy witnessed a slowdown then too the GDP numbers were higher than the March quarter of 2012 (5.3 per cent). Meanwhile we believe the market may remain volatile.
