Markets this morning are trading on a positive note led by IT and Auto stocks which pulled the indices higher.
Markets this morning are trading on a positive note led by IT and Auto stocks which pulled the indices higher. Both the Sensex and NSE Nifty are up by 0.60% in today's early morning trade. Nifty is trading up by 40 points to trade at 6300 and the Sensex trades at 21196 up by 128 points.
The advance-decline ratio is the positive side at morning session today. On the NSE, 1677 shares are trading in gains and 1379 shares are down.
Top Nifty Gainers: Wipro is the top gainer in today’s morning session and is trading higher by 3.33%. It is followed by HCL Tech, TCS, Hindalco and Ranbaxy Labs.
Top Nifty Losers: NMDC is the top loser for today’s morning session and is trading lower by 1.48%. It is followed by BPCL, UltraTech Cement, Grasim and Asian Paints.
On the sectoral front 12 out of 13 indices are trading in green. IT index is the top gainer this morning as it surged by125 points this morning. It was followed by Auto and Bankex indices, which were up by 116 points and 82 points respectively. Mid-Caps and Small-Caps are up by 46 points and 51 points respectively in this morning session.
Global Markets are trading in red at this morning. Hang Seng is trading down by 127 points. Nikkei is down by 99 points. Straits Times and the Shanghai Composite were trading with nominal losses this morning.
Buzzers: Wipro surged more than 4.50% in morning trading session touching day's high and 52 week high of Rs 577.70.
Nifty Future is trading above its resistance level which is 6250-6270. This is indicating good strength at current level around 6307.
