Adani Group And Jabil Announce Strategic AI Alliance

Adani Group and Jabil Inc. announced their intention to form a strategic alliance focused on creating a vertically integrated AI and data center infrastructure manufacturing platform in India. The collaboration aims to address the rapidly growing demand for AI-ready infrastructure by establishing multi-gigawatt manufacturing capabilities for AI racks and advanced data center equipment.

The proposed platform will combine Jabil's six decades of engineering and advanced manufacturing expertise with Adani Group's infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics and data center capabilities to create an end-to-end ecosystem serving both domestic and international markets.

Focus On AI Rack Manufacturing And Data Center Infrastructure

Under the partnership, the companies plan to establish multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacity for high-density AI racks in India. The platform will manufacture and integrate next-generation liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, storage systems and networking equipment using advanced manufacturing technologies, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and complex box-build processes. The targeted customer base includes global hyperscalers, co-location providers and enterprise data center operators seeking AI-ready infrastructure solutions.

Beyond computing equipment, the alliance also intends to manufacture critical power and cooling infrastructure components such as Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), transformers, switchgears, bus bars and advanced thermal management systems.

Positioning India As A Global AI Infrastructure Hub

The companies highlighted that the initiative comes at a time when global investments in AI infrastructure are accelerating rapidly. According to the announcement, the global AI infrastructure opportunity could exceed USD 3 trillion over the next seven years, driven by growing demand for artificial intelligence computing capacity.

India's data center market is also expected to witness substantial expansion, with total capacity projected to reach 5 GW to 8 GW by 2030, supported by cloud adoption, AI workloads and data localization requirements.

The alliance is expected to benefit from increasing investments by global hyperscalers, which are projected to invest more than USD 50 billion across India's data center, cloud and AI ecosystems.

Supports Adani's Long-Term AI Ambitions

The partnership aligns with the Adani Group's broader strategy to build AI-ready digital infrastructure. The conglomerate has already committed USD 100 billion toward developing 5 GW of green energy-powered hyperscale data center capacity by 2035.

The alliance is expected to strengthen India's position in the global AI value chain by creating a complete hardware ecosystem spanning compute, power and cooling infrastructure.
