I went through your insurance special report titled ‘Health is Wealth: Stay Insured’ and found it very informative.Nevertheless, I already possess one health insurance policy and so should I buy a mediclaim policy too?

In the world full of risk you should possess either health insurance or a mediclaim policy in order to protect yourself from huge hospitalisation costs. As you already possess a health insurance policy, I do not see any merit in going for a mediclaim policy. A health insurance policy offers comprehensive insurance coverage which covers almost all expenses including critical illness subject to some exclusions whereas a mediclaim policy covers only hospitalisation costs
