Rajesh Power Services Receives Rs 211.68 Crore EPC Order

Rajesh Power Services Limited has secured a turnkey EPC contract from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) for design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning works related to a 220 kV transmission project in Odisha. The total value of the order stands at Rs 211.68 crore, including Taxes.

The project involves the Construction of a 220 kV single-circuit transmission line through underground cable from the 400/220/132/33 kV GSS Mendhasal substation to the 220/132/33 kV GIS GSS Chandaka-B substation. The scope also includes one 220 kV AIS bay extension at GSS Mendhasal and one 220 kV GIS bay extension at Chandaka-B.

Rajesh Power Services Marks Entry Into Odisha Market

According to the company, the order marks its entry into the state of Odisha, expanding its geographical footprint and strengthening its presence in Eastern India. The company stated that the project is among the largest transmission orders secured by Rajesh Power Services and represents a significant milestone in its growth journey.

The award further reinforces the confidence placed in the company by leading power transmission utilities and highlights its capabilities in executing complex transmission infrastructure projects on an EPC basis.

Execution Timeline And Order Details

The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed on a turnkey basis. Rajesh Power Services has been given a project execution timeline of 24 months. The company clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity and the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.

The company expects the order to strengthen its Order Book and contribute meaningfully to its long-term growth and execution pipeline.
