Tracking global cues, Nifty 50 opened in green in today’s trade at 18170.40 against the previous close of 18055.75, which means a gap up of 114.65points. At the moment, it is trading at 18152.3. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 12.0 are trading below their previous close and 38.0 are trading above yesterday's close. In today’s trade, more stocks are trading in favour of advances and overall we can see that more stocks are trading in green.
In today’s trade, the best performing index is NIFTY REALTY it is up by 2.2 per cent due to the better sales numbers reported by DLF for one of its luxury properties in NCR. This is followed by NIFTY PRIVATE BANK, which is up by 0.97 per cent. The worst performing index currently (10:19 am) is NIFTY PHARMA. It is down by -0.47 per cent. Out of the total 20.0 companies forming part of the index, 15.0 companies are trading in red, 5.0 are trading in green.
