1. BEML Ltd
BEML has received a letter of intent (LoI) for design, manufacture, supply, testing, and commissioning of standard gauge metro rolling stock for African region. The order comprises of stainless-steel standard gauge metro rolling stock valuing of around $60 million. This is the first ever overseas order secured by the company for supply of metro rolling stock.
BEML closed at Rs 1,560.20, up from the previous day’s close of Rs 1,512.00. This represents a gain of Rs 48.20, or 3.19 per cent.
Shree Refrigerations has entered into a Turbocor Authorised Service Partner (TASP) Agreement with Danfoss LLC, USA. Further, this agreement enables the Company to become a Turbocor Authorised Service Partner and undertake repair of the Danfoss Turbocor compressors locally. This will be the first and only such centre, presently, for the region.
Shree Refrigerations Ltd closed at Rs 188.75, up by Rs 3.65 or 1.97 per cent today.
3. Shipping Corporation of India Ltd
Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has executed a shipbuilding contract with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) on March 18, 2026 for Construction of one (1 no.) 3000 DWT Methanol Dual Fuel Platform Supply Vessel (PSV).
This PSV will be the first vessel in SCI’s fleet which is planned to operate on alternate fuel Green Methanol, a step towards the green shipping under the aegis of National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM).
Shipping Corporation of India Ltd closed at Rs 240.25 on March 18, 2026, up from the previous day’s close of Rs 236.65. This marks a gain of Rs 3.60, or 1.52 per cent.
