Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.47 per cent at 82,626 and the Nifty-50 up 0.38 per cent at 25,327. About 2,134 shares have advanced, 2,001 shares have declined and 181 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.09 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.16 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Ipca Laboratories Ltd, Vishal Mega Mart Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Gillette India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd, The Anup Engineering Ltd, Orchid Pharma Ltd and Anant Raj Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Financial Services Index and BSE Consumer Durbales Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 19, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 466 lakh crore or USD 5.28 trillion. On the same day, 162 stocks hit a 52-week high while 60 stocks touched a 52-week low.
