Top mid-cap performers on Wednesday

On Wednesday, Sensex gained by more than 500 points and was up by around 1.31 per cent. Nifty also surged, gaining by 201.60 points or by 1.35 per cent around lunchtime.

BSE MidCap index continued to outperform, touching an all-time high of 20,864.25 on Wednesday. The index jumped by around 8 per cent in the past one month while it has surged by around 15 per cent on a YTD basis.
In BSE MidCap index, the stocks of the companies belonging to Adani Group continued to buzz. Other top performers included financial & banking stocks.
On the other hand, KIOCL, Alkem Laboratories, Castrol India, BHEL, TVS Motor, Oberoi Realty, etc. were some of the worst performers in BSE MidCap index.
