Ace Investor Vijay Kedia Holds Stake In Company
Ace investor Vijay Kedia, through Kedia Securities Private Limited, held 14,98,107 equity shares of SPML Infra as of Q1 FY27. While his shareholding percentage stood at 1.78 per cent, compared with 1.88 per cent in Q4 FY26, the decline was due to an increase in the company's equity capital following a preferential allotment and not because of any sale of shares by Kedia.
Further, Manju Vijay Kedia was allotted 13,45,000 warrants under the company's recent preferential issue. Upon conversion of these warrants into equity shares, the Kedia family's combined shareholding in the company is expected to increase.
SPML Infra Shareholding Pattern
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) increased their stake in the company from 0.36 per cent in March 2026 to 0.52 per cent in April 2026, reflecting growing institutional interest in the stock.
At the same time, promoter shareholding increased from 40.19 per cent to 40.97 per cent, while public shareholding declined from 57.57 per cent to 56.73 per cent during the same period.
SPML Infra Allots Shares Under ESOP Scheme
Recently, SPML Infra informed exchanges that its Board of Directors, through a circular resolution passed on June 16, 2026, approved the allotment of 2,33,744 equity shares of face value Rs 2 each under the company's ESOP Scheme 2021. The allotment was made to eligible employees following the exercise of vested stock options.
Following the allotment, the company's paid-up equity share capital increased from 8,39,16,179 equity shares to 8,41,49,923 equity shares.
