Watch out for these low-priced stocks which made fresh 52-week high on Tuesday

At noon on Tuesday, the frontline equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading at 60,590 and 18,048 levels, respectively. Sensex was up by 194 points while Nifty was up by 45 points from the last trading session.   

The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were HCL Technologies, HDFC Ltd, Divis Laboratories, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and NTPC. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index included JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel, and Asian Paints.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 30,568, up by 0.59 per cent. The top five gainers are Jindal Drilling and Industries, Kellton Tech Solutions, Greaves Cotton, Just Dial, and India Nippon Electricals. Each of these stocks gained more than 10 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include BGR Energy, Zee Media Corporation, GTL Infrastructure, Zee Learn, and Hindustan Construction.  

Among the sectoral indices on BSE, BSE Energy was trading in the red and was almost 1.39 per cent down. BSE Telecom was also dragging by almost by 1 per cent as the shares of Vodafone Idea crashed by over 14 per cent in the morning. All the remaining sectoral indices were trading flat on the bourses.
