On Monday, Sensex was up by more than 200 points at 45,306.01 levels. BSE Small-Cap index gained 1.34 per cent while BSE Mid-Cap index rose by 0.83 per cent.

As Indian markets seem to be on a record-breaking spree by setting new records, small-caps and mid-caps don’t seem to hold much and continued outperforming the domestic benchmark indices. Small-cap and mid-cap stocks continued attracting investors’ attention as some of the stocks are still available at a relatively cheap valuation. Moreover, news and rumours further drive the stocks’ positive trend.
While many small-cap and mid-cap stocks surged on Monday, some of them disappointed investors. Adani Power, JSW Energy, Voltas, etc. are amongst some of the mid-cap stocks, trading in the red. Granules, 63 Moons, Uniply, etc. are some of the small-cap stocks that were seen declining on Monday.
