The stock, priced at ₹30.72 per share, witnessed a total traded volume of 8.01 lakh shares on October 21, 2025 — more than four times its 30-day average volume of 1.97 lakh shares.

Indian equity benchmark indices ended on a positive note during the special Diwali ‘Muhurat Trading’ session, marking the beginning of Samvat 2082. The Nifty Smallcap 100 index stole the spotlight, gaining over half a per cent, as stock-specific action dominated the day. The upbeat sentiment was reflected in the market breadth — advancing stocks comfortably outnumbered decliners on Tuesday.

Among the stocks that drew investors’ attention, Latteys Industries Limited stood out. The company is a leading manufacturer of energy-efficient water pumping solutions, catering primarily to the agricultural, domestic, industrial, and horticultural sectors. Its product portfolio includes submersible pumps (borewell and openwell), centrifugal monoblock pumps, self-priming pumps, shallow well pumps, and Solar water pumping systems.

These pumps find extensive use in irrigation and water supply projects, rural and urban infrastructure, and solar-powered water systems under government initiatives such as PM-KUSUM.

Interestingly, Latteys Industries recorded its highest trading volume in the past one year during the Muhurat session. The stock, priced at ₹30.72 per share, witnessed a total traded volume of 8.01 lakh shares on October 21, 2025 — more than four times its 30-day average volume of 1.97 lakh shares. The price too saw a sharp rally, surging nearly 11 per cent during the session.

As per the September 2025 shareholding pattern, promoters hold 70.42 per cent of the company’s equity, while public shareholders own the remaining 29.58 per cent.
