Small Cap Company Under Rs 150 Announces Capacity Expansion Across Sweater and T-Shirt Divisions

Active Clothing Co Ltd is expanding its manufacturing capacity across its key production facilities as the company looks to cater to expected growth in business.

Company Enters into a Contract with Ningbo Cixing Co. Ltd

As part of the expansion programme, the company has entered into a contract with Ningbo Cixing Co Ltd, China, for the supply of 106 fully computerised flat knitting machines. The new machinery will be deployed in the company’s Flat Knitted Sweaters Division.

According to the company, the addition of these machines is expected to strengthen its sweater manufacturing capacity, improve productivity and allow it to produce higher volumes and a wider range of products.

Expansion of T-Shirt Manufacturing Capacity

Alongside the sweater division, Active Clothing Co Ltd is also expanding its Circular Knits, or T-shirt, division.

The expansion is aimed at increasing manufacturing capacity and meeting the requirements of the company’s growing customer base. The company expects the combined expansion across both divisions to support higher production and sales, which could contribute to top-line growth.

The adoption of modern machinery and improved operating efficiencies is also expected to support profitability and the company’s bottom line.

The machinery under the expansion programme is expected to be installed and commissioned in a phased manner during FY 2026-27.

Active Clothing Stock Performance

Following the announcement, Active Clothing Co Ltd shares closed at Rs 113 on August 31, 2026, compared with the previous close of Rs 111.70. The stock gained 1.16 per cent during the session.

However, the stock’s recent returns have remained weak.

Over the past one month, the shares have declined 3.75 per cent. The stock is down 16.17 per cent over the past three months and has fallen 16.11 per cent over the past year.
