Top 5 small-cap stocks that attracted fund managers in April; do you hold any of them?

Considering the outperformance by the broader markets, it is pertinent to note which stocks from the Smallcap segment saw interest from mutual fund managers in April.

However, with the sentiment skewed in favour of bears it was assumed that the bears would continue to dominate. But, like a Bollywood movie we saw that the hero emerged as the winner in the end as April turned out to be a fabulous month for the Nifty 50 index.

The Nifty 50 index jumped over 4 per cent in the month of April recording its best gain since November 2022. Talking about broader markets' performance, Nifty Midcap and Smallcap outperformed the frontline index with Nifty Midcap and Smallcap jumping 5.86 per cent and 7.54 per cent, respectively.
