Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 36 points or 0.05 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.20 per cent, power zoomed by 0.52 per cent, and auto surged by 0.80 per cent.
Meanwhile, IIFL Finance Ltd, Vishal Mega Mart Ltd and Cyient Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
IIFL Finance Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.57 per cent to trade at Rs 682.75 apiece. The company recently reported Q1 FY27 consolidated net profit of Rs 713 crore, up 14 per cent sequentially, while its latest disclosures include commercial paper redemptions and credit-rating updates.
Vishal Mega Mart Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.80 per cent to trade at Rs 113.45 apiece. The company recently re-appointed Gunender Kapur as Founder, Managing Director and CEO for a five-year term effective September 1, 2026, providing continuity in leadership.
Cyient Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.52 per cent to trade at Rs 1,226.20 apiece. The company recently received CCI approval to acquire 100 per cent of U.S.-based Tao Digital Solutions Inc., an AI-native data and product engineering solutions provider, in a deal with an enterprise value of USD 218 million.
